I am a 27 year-old female who lives in Adams Ridge. I am available for before
and after school child care as well as during the day. I have worked with kids
between the ages of one (1) and thirteen years of age at both a children's gym
and private babysitting.

Reading and Language Arts Specialist
Teacher with 10 years experience, including Reading K-12 at Shady Side Academy. I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, from IUP, and a Master's Degree as a Reading and Language Arts Specialist from Duquesne University. I am a mother of three elementary school students. I have tutored every grade level over the past 20 years with great success.
Will test and diagnose Reading and Language Arts strengths and weaknesses. Will develop a curriculum custom made for your child's needs and learning style. Lessons taught include phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, study skills, SAT prep, research skills, writing skills and appropriate reading rates. All lessons taught through games with many positive rewards. Learning to read and write should be fun!

Compensation: $40 per hour. $20 per 30 minutes.

Babysitter Needed for 3 weeks in June
I am seeking a teenager or young adult who would be willing to watch my 4 y/o granddaughter during the day for 3 weeks:
The hours would be from approximately 8:00 a.m. to around 4 pm. ( or earlier)
June 11-15, June 18-22, and June 25-29.
We live in Adams Ridge (Southern Valley), and my granddaughter is visiting for 3 weeks while her mom is in the Army reserves but I am unable to take off time from work. I would prefer my home if possible and you would be able to utilize the pool and playground in our community,and of course food would be provided as well. If you need to be picked up or dropped off after I can certainly accomodate that as well.

Anyone interested in CPR/First Aid/ AED Training, or just renewing your current certification. Will work with individuals or group (max. 12). Time and place can be worked out. Class is 4 hours which will give you 2 year certification. CPR is adult and infant training.
